Son of Dvora and Gideon. Born on 6.11.1978 in Bat Yam, the eldest son of his parents, Rami, Aviv and Dror were born at the Yad Mordekhai elementary school and continued to high school at the College of Management in Bat Yam, where Shai was a good student Who loved his studies, succeeded in them and defined his years in high school as the most Yaffa years of his life, and was always a Simcha and friendly child, always loved by his friends and always willing to help with any mission. In elementary school he was one of the pillars of his class, and when he was in 10th grade, he proved quite a bit of talent in playing the leading role in the play He also played volleyball from elementary school, participated in the school team and was a key contributor to impressive achievements, including the School Championship, and played for Hapoel Daughter of And when he was in high school he even took a course in volleyball instructors, and in August 1997 Shai joined the IDF. He was to be a transport driver and was sent to a driving course. He completed the course successfully and passed the driving test easily. Upon receiving the driver’s license, Shai did not forget his teacher and thanked him warmly and with a small message. Shai served as a regular driver at a transport base. On the 17th of Tammuz 5768 (17.7.1998) Shai died after six months in which he was hospitalized for illness. He was nineteen when he died. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Holon.
