Son of Miriam and Abraham. Born in Tel Aviv on September 24, 1936. David began his studies at the Ahad Ha’am Elementary School and at the Balfour Gymnasium and continued with a literary track at Geula High School. In late August 1954 David was drafted into compulsory military service in the Israel Defense Forces and was appointed by the Armored Corps, where he underwent courses and advanced studies until he reached Battalion 82. In 1957 he completed his army service in the IDF In 1968, he married Nili, and his two children were born: he graduated from the School of Technicians in 1972.
