Portal, Joseph

Son of Susan and Hananiah. Joseph was born in Morocco on February 13, 1958. At an early age he immigrated with his family to Israel, to Dimona. Yosef studied at the Lyman High School in Dimona and graduated with honors in 12th grade.In 1976, Yosef enlisted in the IDF and served in the Border Police in Jerusalem. He was an outstanding soldier and did his job well. His commanders appreciated his motivation and his investment in all the areas he was asked to perform, and he did them the best. In 1985, Yosef married, lived in Bat Yam and was born with four children in 1992. In 1992 Yosef joined the police and served in the courtroom, accompanied by detainees. In 1997, he served in the Abu Kabir detention center, where he was in charge of detainees, and he did his job well and progressed in the ranks of the Israel Police Force On 27 June 1999, Who was buried at the cemetery in Holon and left behind a wife, two daughters and two sons, and parents.
