Porgon, Mordechai (“Risha”)

Son of Admon and Fortuna. He was born on 10 October 1947 in the city of Legolit in Tunis, where he immigrated to Israel and studied at the Shavei Zion elementary school in Jaffa and after graduating he studied at the Urim High School in Tel Aviv. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1966, and while we were on regular service, on May 19, 1967, he fell while performing his duties in an ambush and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
