Pomerantz, Daniel

Daniel, son of Varda and Avi Pomerantz, was born in 1993 in Yavneh. In June 2013, Daniel enlisted in the IDF, serving as a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade. Daniel fell in battle in Shuja’iyeh during Operation Tzuk Eitan on 22 Tamuz, July 20, 2014. He was twenty-one when he fell. He was buried in the cemetery in Kfar Azar and was survived by his parents and three brothers. Daniel was raised after his fall to the rank of First Sergeant.
