Polly, Stuart
Born in New Jersey on June 3, 1960, Son of Linda and Richard completed eight years of elementary school in his hometown and continued high school in architecture. After completing his studies, he left school and joined the US Army, serving as a tank driver in the American Armored Corps for more than three years, and in December 1983, after completing his military service, he immigrated to Israel and joined the Hebrew ulpan in Kibbutz Mizra Yizre’el, where he moved to the Kinneret group, where he worked as a dairy farmer, and in April 1984 joined the “Nesher” immigrant group in Kfar Blum. I enlisted with them to serve in the Nahal Brigade and volunteered for 18 months. According to state law, Stuart had to do compulsory service for only four months, since he had already served in a foreign army, and indeed he wanted to shorten his service and was asked to do so. Stuart left the nucleus of the Nahal Brigade and was stationed in a reserve unit in the Engineering Corps in October 1984. On December 8, 1984, during his reserve duty, he was flown to the United States and laid to rest in the cemetery in his hometown, In New Jersey, aged 25. He left behind his parents and brother
