Son of Arian and Pardesi. He was born on the 8th of Elul 5720 (August 28, 1960) in France and immigrated to Israel in 1968. The family settled in Ashkelon and Marcel was educated in this city. He studied at the Havatzelet School, continued at the Maayan School and completed his studies at the general framework program at the Youth Center. Before his enlistment, Marcel studied customs in a pre-military course. Marcel was drafted into the IDF in mid-February 1979, and was trained as a driver in the Armored Corps, and was trained as a trainee driver, a course for drivers of armored personnel carriers and a course for improving his knowledge of Hebrew. ) Marcel fell during his service and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Ashkelon. He left parents, five sisters and four brothers.
