Meir, son of Sarah and Ze’ev Plotniki, was born in 1931 in the city of Pruzhany, Poland. In 1936 his parents immigrated to Israel and settled in Haifa. On 1 Shvat, January 12, 1948, he was sent to hang a security sign on the Rashmiya Bridge in Haifa, he was shot and hilled. Meir was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. He was 17 years old.
