Plato, Moshe (Edward)


Son of Esther and Abraham (Bernard) was born on October 12, 1931 in Paris, the capital of France, and his family was saved from extermination during the Nazi occupation, and from the day of liberation he continued his studies and completed his knowledge and prepared to be a lawyer. When he reached the end of Israel’s War of Independence, he stopped his studies and enlisted in the Gahal (Overseas Recruitment). While abroad, he practiced all the necessary training and in early August 1948, when he reached the shores of the homeland, he was immediately attached to the Givati ​​Brigade and moved to the south. Moshe fell in the “Yoav” operation for the breakthrough to the Negev, in an attack on the Egyptian “fortresses” near Negba, on the 17th of Tishrei, 17.10.1948. He was laid to rest at the Warburg military cemetery. He was 17 and a week was gone.
