Pinto, Oshrat

Daughter of Shulamit and Yitzchok. Born in Safed on the 17th of Shevat, January 21, 1984. After graduating from high school, she enlisted in the IDF and served as a lieutenant colonel in the Border Police. Oshrat fell on Thursday, the 25th of Kislev, December 2, 2010 in the Carmel disaster, the forest fire on Mount Carmel. It was the largest fire in the country’s history. Oshrat was twenty-seven years old. She was buried in Safed’s military cemetery.
