Pinto, Moshe
Son of Rachel and Michael was born on 13.1.1914 in Safed. He graduated from Kol Israel Haverim. He worked as an interpreter in the Hashalom Court and in the Tel Aviv District Court. Moshe was an active member of the Haganah. When he was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces, he was transferred to the military apparatus as a clerk, and during his entire service served as chief clerk in Zrifin. He served on a transport base and training base. Due to illness, Moshe was not sent to combat service, and his condition worsened due to his strenuous work. He was taken to the hospital in Jerusalem where he died of cancer on the 8th of Adar, March 8, 1949. He was laid to rest at the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery, he left behind a wife, Esther, a son and two daughters, his second daughter was born 6 weeks after His death.
