Pinto, Haim-Claude


The only son of Elijah and Miriam. He was born on March 14, 1944 in Oran, Algeria. He completed his studies in an elementary school in Algeria. After immigrating to Israel, he studied at a vocational school in Ashkelon. He was drafted into the IDF in mid-February 1962. After being discharged from regular army service, he was accepted to work by profession, excelled in his work, and for a short period of time attained the rank of excellent professional, and in the society of his peers he was not particularly distinguished. In August 1969, he was drafted into active reserve duty on September 6, 1969, when he was killed by enemy shelling in the area of ​​the Suez Canal and brought to rest in the Warburg military cemetery.
