Pinsker, Mishael (Mishka)


Son of Shoshana and Yehuda Aryeh was born on May 8, 1962 in Tel Aviv. He spent his childhood in the agricultural farm of his parents in Atlit, where he attended elementary school and excelled in his studies. At that time, he joined the local branch of the Scouts and taught there. He was of a comfortable, gentle and quiet nature, a good and caring friend, devoted and desirable to society. At the end of his studies in Atlit, he stayed at home for a year, worked in his parents’ farm, and later moved to the agricultural school in Mikve Israel. Where he joined the Hashomer Hatzair movement. Mishael was particularly devoted to the plantation issue. After graduating from the agricultural school, he moved to the “commune” of the Hashomer Hatzair movement for three years, and devoted himself to guiding youth. After these three years he moved to a training program and was recruited as a member of Kibbutz Beit Alfa. Afterward he joined the Palmach and served in the Palmach. Most of the time, he was close to the shores of the country and examined the possibility of raising illegal immigrants in the underground and even participated in bringing them to the shores of the country. During his free time, he was reading for a course of study and was particularly interested in economic questions. He also began writing studies on this subject.
