Pines, Dov

Son of Sima and Avraham, was born on April 27, 1956 in Ramle. Dov was the eldest son of a family of four sons. Dov was sent to an officer’s post, was successful in them and was a candidate for an officers’ course, but a fatal car accident cut short his life. Dov fell in the course of his duties on the 13th of Adar 2, 19.3.1981, and was brought to rest in the cemetery in Ramla. He was 25 years old. Dov left a wife, parents and brothers. His family commemorated a Torah scroll to one of the IDF bases in his memory.
