Pinchuk, Baruch


Son of Chava and Abraham, was born in 1911 in the town of Galina, Poland. His father, who was a descendant of Rebbes and Bar-Orian, took care of his traditional and Torah education, but when he finished elementary school he went to Zionism and Pioneering, On the Tiger Hill in 1939. Baruch immediately joined the kibbutz and stayed for seven years in Na’an as an agricultural farmer, where he was there during the British search for weapons and was taken to Latrun. A member of the Haganah since his arrival in Israel, and in his pleasant and quiet manner he has gained new friends and friends in his work and his service He served in the Alexandroni Brigade and was a member of a company of saboteurs, and Baruch took part in many battles and fulfilled his dangerous duties with caution and responsibility, and he emerged safely. While leaving mines against infiltrators near Ramat Hakovesh, an explosion occurred and he perished there on Tuesday, December 5, 1948. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Netanya.
