Pinchas Brosh


Son of Simcha and Moshe, was born in 1951. At the age of 7, Pinchas immigrated with his parents to Israel and the family settled in Ashkelon, where Pinchas graduated from the Asaf elementary school in Ashkelon, and when his parents moved to Pardes Katz, He was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement, and was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement, and he was a young man in his youth. In 1971, Pinchas enlisted in the IDF, took part in several professional courses and served as a radio operator in the Signal Corps. In the Yom Kippur War he was attached to an engineering unit that built the bridges over the Suez Canal. In 1974, Pinchas was released from the regular service with the rank of sergeant. He began working as a bank clerk, married Orly and had a daughter – Neta. On the first day of the fighting, on the 26th of Sivan, 5762 (1982), he traveled to the armored personnel carrier in an attempt to rescue the wounded. Near Pinchas, Pinchas was ambushed by terrorists, shot in the Lev and killed on the spot. He was 31 years old when he died. Pinchas was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul in Tel Aviv. He left behind a wife, daughter – Neta, parents, brother and four sisters.
