Pick, Reuven (“Robella”)

Son of Hanan and Margot, members of Kibbutz Galil-Yam. He was born on the 28th of Iyar, May 18, 1947 in the kibbutz. Reuvan was a friend of all and was expressed in a willingness to help others. He could always be relied upon and was assigned various roles. He was drafted in November 1965 and also served in compulsory service and in the Six-Day War . During a tour of the Nachshonim operation on the fifth day of its battles, on the ROsh Hodesh Sivan, 9th of June 1967, Reuvan fell in battle, and was buried in the military cemetery in Bari, and after some time was transfered to the cemetery in Kibbutz Galil-Yam.
