Philipinsky, Pesach
Son of Miriam and Menachem (Mendel), was born in 1913 in the city of Sapatzkin, Poland, and attended elementary school. While in Poland he joined the Hehalutz movement and was active in it as an organizer and guide with informative abilities. He joined the hachshara and was elected kibbutz secretary. In 1934 he immigrated to Israel, joined the Hagana and worked as a laborer, and he was one of the initiators who performed their duties quietly and modestly. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Afula. He died alone.
