Petro, Mordechai (“Marshello”)

Mordechai (Marshello), son of Ezra and Fanny Petro, was born on the 4th of Iyar, April 2, 1930 in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and immigrated to Israel in 1947. In the course of his mission in the ambush on the way to Eilat on the 5th of Elul, August 30, 1949, he fell and was brought to rest at the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
