Petel, Avigdor

Born in 1928 in the city of Aleppo in Syria, the family immigrated to Israel in 1935 when Avigdor was seven years old and settled in Jerusalem, where his father, rabbi and talmid hakham, served as a teacher and principal of the ” The son, who remained loyal to his religious education, completed elementary school, studied seamstresses, first worked for other shoemakers, and finally opened his own shoemaking workshop in the Mazkeret Moshe neighborhood.
