Pervuzkin, Zvi (Zvika)


Son of Eva and Meir, was born on May 15, 1961 in Poland. He immigrated to Israel with his parents for six months. The family settled in Ashkelon, where Zvi studied at Gordon Elementary School. After graduating from middle school, he went to work as a plumber. He gave his money to his parents to help support his family. In May 1979, he enlisted in the IDF and served in the Artillery Corps. On the 19th of Tammuz 5740 (3.7.1989), his unit was trained in the Judean Desert, in the area of ​​Nabi Musa. Zvi took the job in a military truck. On the way the truck overturned and fell into a valley. Zvi was killed. He was 19 when he died. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Ashkelon. Survived by his parents and two sisters. The commander of his unit wrote in a letter of condolence to his family: “Zvika was killed in the Nabi Musa area during training, he was a quiet and disciplined soldier, and on Independence Day he was recommended by the commander of the embankment as an excellent soldier. As a soldier in IDF uniform. “
