Perfstein, Feibush-Shraga
He was born in 1901 in Bialystok, Poland, where he volunteered for the Jewish Legion – the 38th Battalion of the King’s Rifles in the framework of the British Army, which was to help liberate Palestine from the Turks. Feibush continued to serve even after the end of the war and on 30 Sivan, the 28th of June, 1919, he died while carrying out his duties. He was laid to rest on the first day of Tammuz 5619 at the British military cemetery in Ramle.
