Naftali, son of Elia and Mordecai, was born on 17.5.1949 in Morocco and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1961. He attended elementary school in his hometown and continued at the elementary school in Moshav Mivtachim. He later studied at the Lehman High School in Dimona. Naftali was a man of work, and worked hard to make a living in various crafts, Dimona and Tel Aviv. All that was imposed on him fulfilled faithfully and accurately, with great diligence and perseverance. He was modest and modest, withdrawn and a bit shy, but serious in his approach to life, stubborn and adamant to successfully complete any action that began. He was naturally friendly, welcoming and a loyal confidant. He was endowed with patience and patience, had no grudge against anyone, and was willing to help others, especially the weak. He was kind, with a broad hand, and a willingness to work for anyone willingly. Among all his friends he was known to be polite, gentle and pleasant. From the dawn of his youth he had been a devoted and faithful son to his parents, helping them as much as he could and giving them respect and respect. Naftali was drafted into the IDF in early August 1967 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, where he completed his army service during the War of Attrition on the banks of the Suez Canal. When the Yom Kippur War broke out, Naftali was drafted and sent with his unit to the Sinai front in a battle that took place on the 12th of Tishrei 5734 (October 8, 1973), near the Firdan Bridge, a missile hit his tank and he was killed on the spot, initially considered missing, then when he was found, he was buried in the Dimona cemetery and left behind his parents, nine brothers and three sisters, and he was promoted to the rank of sergeant. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family: “Naftali was a dedicated and courageous soldier, An excellent armor, which did everything that was imposed on it impeccably. “
