Peretz, Moshe
Son of Rachel and Solomon. He was born on October 3, 1966 in Ashkelon. He grew up in his hometown. His nickname was Mejo. He attended the Godfrey Elementary School in the Migdal neighborhood of Ashkelon and continued his high school studies at the Religious Youth Center, where he was a young man with a joy of life who liked to invest in his appearance and was careful to dress even when he was in uniform. He was drafted into compulsory military service in the IDF in early February 1985 and assigned to serve in the military rabbinate. He served as kashrut supervisor for a year, until the fatal accident in which he fell. During his service on February 17, 1986, Moshe was injured in a road accident on the Megiddo road. After suffering for a month, Moshe died on March 18, 1986 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Ashkelon, his hometown, leaving behind his parents, three sisters – Jacqueline, Yaffa and Tami and four brothers – David, Abraham, Meir and Shimon
