Peretz, Eitan


Ben Jacqueline and me. He was born in Nahariya on February 7, 1976. He studied at the Katznelson Elementary School and at Amal High School in Nahariya, and he loved the freedom, the sea and the fun with His friends and especially his girlfriend for three years, Ilana Eitan was an avid sports fan, actively engaged in soccer, a game in which he excelled in his childhood, and was an outstanding goalkeeper in the Beitar Nahariya team. His friends said he was “a loyal friend, willing to help at all times and to listen attentively, a wild and smiling nature lover.” Eitan enlisted in the IDF in late November 1994. He underwent basic training at the Sanur base in Nablus, and soon joined the paratroopers’ family, Eitan loved the army, never complained, and treated difficulties with humor as a social experience. Beit Yad, on January 22, 1995. Twenty-one soldiers and a civilian were killed, and Eitan was laid to rest in the cemetery in Nahariya and was promoted to corporal after his death. Survived by his parents, brother, two sisters and a friend. In a letter of consolation to the family, the unit’s commander, Lt. Col. At the request of his parents, Eitan was remembered for purchasing the “Elijah Chair” and a lamp for a synagogue in Nahariya. Students from the “Epshtin” Jewish school in Atlanta, United States, planted a tree in memory of Eitan, in the “Children’s Forest”, in the forests of the JNF, and a soccer team was named after him, “Eitan Nahariya.” (January 2003), the OC Central Command gave Corporal Eitan Peretz a personal citation that was given to his family, “for the insanity of the soul, the realization of the value of evil through self-risk, courage, resourcefulness and exemplaryness.”
