Peres, Bernardo

Son of Simon and Bracha. Born on the 28th of Iyar 5708 (June 6, 1948) in Brazil. He studied elementary and high school in an Israeli school in Brazil. He was a sports fan and a member of an Israeli football club. He immigrated to Israel in 1969 and joined Kibbutz Sdot Yam. At the end of January 1970 he was drafted into the IDF, and on the 8th of Adar 5731 (March 4, 1971), he fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva.
