In his youth, he played soccer in the Hapoel Kiryat Shmona team and became an outstanding player, and enjoyed a motorcycle ride, and after completing his studies he took a course that saved him from swimming.Elan was an angel full of charm and charm that always made people love him. In the course of his training, he underwent an APC mechanic training course at the 20th Air Force Base. After the course, Ilan, affectionately nicknamed ‘Chico’, was placed in the Keren Battalion and later moved to the Golan Heights under the command of Paul, And maintained contact with him even after his release. After his regular service, Ilan worked as a lifeguard and after two bathing seasons at Kibbutz Nachshonim, went to visit his father and two brothers, Danny and Marcelo, who remained in Argentina. When he returned to Israel, he was hired as a lifeguard in Kibbutz Kfar Glickson and worked in the children’s home during the winter. A year later he went on a trip again and this time with a cold Alaska friend. He returned to Israel for the birth of his niece Ophir, whom he loved to pamper, as well as his nephew Ido. Ilan worked as a lifeguard in a Tel Aviv hotel, and on one of his days, Cupid sent him Ayala. Between the two they formed love and they spent about a year together. On March 2, 2003, Ilan was called to reserve duty at the Nahalar Military Academy in the Golan Heights, during which he fell during his duty on 8 March 2003, eight days after his twenty-seventh birthday. Ilan left behind a father, two brothers, two sisters and a friend. He was laid to rest in the cemetery at Kibbutz Lehavot Habashan. In the lines of the personal inscription on his tombstone, the words were engraved: “My brother, wherever you hide, will forever be in our hearts.” Prior to his death Ilan completed a course for swimming instructors at the Wingate Institute, but did not receive the news.
