Son of Zvi was born on July 18, 1935 in Rishon Letzion, where he studied elementary school at the local elementary school, While in the framework of the Gadna, Haim completed several courses: a course for commanders, a course for squadron commanders and a sniper course. Haim was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of March 1953. Immediately after his enlistment, he was assigned to the IAF, and after completing basic training, he completed a course for a jet mechanic and continued to serve in this field. At the end of his regular service, he volunteered to continue his service at Kaveh. After completing the officers’ course, Haim was appointed to a variety of positions. During his service Chaim was sent abroad several times abroad, for training and for purchasing purposes, and was awarded a certified technician’s certificate in 1973. His colleagues admired him as an excellent professional and as a dedicated and serious commander. On July 10, 1976, in the area of ​​the Solomon region, Chaim fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Rishon Letzion, and left behind a wife Shulamit and four children Dorit, Noit, Michal and Ofer, Brother and two sisters, in a letter of condolences to the bereaved family, his colleague wrote: “… I knew Haim as a diligent, dedicated, honest, friend, professional and loyal to the principles of the air force; As a man who raised generations of mechanics in the air force and became a symbol of a real maintenance man; As a person who loves his service and who the Air Force enjoys his service. “
