Born in Romania on April 25, 1950, he was educated in Romania, where he completed his twelve years of study and academic studies, and in 1974, when he was twenty-four years old, he immigrated with his mother In early April 1975, Sorin was drafted into the IDF, and at the end of the basic training course he was assigned to the maintenance corps. He was chosen to take a course in maintenance and registration registration, received the rank of corporal and was sent to a unit where he served as a maintenance coordinator. According to his commander, Sorin performed his job with great efficiency and professionalism. After completing his regular service, Sorin was discharged from the IDF and began his civilian life, and after two years he volunteered for the career army and was appointed to serve as a maintenance and registration officer in the Medical Corps, where he served for sixteen consecutive years. In his opinion on the resistors, his commanders noted: “Against diligent and particularly devoted, he invests and labors, and proves his motivation.” During the period of his military service, Sorin’s mother died, and his aunt Pesia Rachel Taubman’s home was his home. On the 2nd of Cheshvan 5755 (November 2, 1994), after a long period of suffering, Sorin died of liver disease. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon. Survived by a twin brother – Adrian, and his aunt Rachel. He was forty-four when he died. In a letter of consolation to his family, his commander wrote: “Sorin served against a unit registration at the Central Command headquarters, where he received great respect and appreciation from all his subordinates and commanders … Against a diligent, dedicated and professional, self-disciplined person who always aspired to perfection, .
