Pasko, Jacob

Son of Victor and Chaya. He was born in the city of Dorochoi, Romania, on May 20, 1937, and immigrated to Israel in 1951. He joined the IDF as part of the Artillery Corps in February 1955. He fell in combat in the Sinai Campaign. On the 26th of Mishvan 5710 (31.10.1956) he was buried in the Military Cemetery of the Emergency Army in Beshalach and on the 24th of Tishrei 5710 (24.10.1957) he was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Afula. His memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book, “The Paratroop Wars.”
