Pashkowsky, Simcha
Son of Menachem-Mendel and Ida. He was born on September 19, 1929 in Bialystok, Poland. He immigrated to Israel in 1936. He completed his studies at the Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium and then went on to serve in the Hebrew Yishuv Police. After completing this service in 1947 he left for the United States and studied for one year at the University of Syracuse in the Faculty of Humanities. During this school year he excelled in his studies. Was in contact with the Israeli consulate in New York and at the outbreak of the War of Independence returned immediately to Israel. On the 11th of Marcheshvan 5703 (November 3, 1949) he died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
