He was twenty-one years old when he fell. After his fall he was promoted to lieutenant. Tzur was buried in the cemetery in the village where he grew up, in Kidron. Survived by his parents and three brothers – Guy, Alon and Inbal. Tzur’s family commemorated him in a basketball tournament held in memory of him every year in Moshav Kidron
