Panker, Yuval

Yuval ben Rachel and Shlomo was born on the 21st of Nisan, 18.4.1979 in Lod, brother of Liat, Shmuel and Aviel. Yuval was very active during his yeshiva studies, always surrounded by friends and radiated light and modesty. In March 1998, Yuval enlisted in the IDF. He aspired to reach an elite unit, but preferred to start serving as a combat soldier in the Border Police. On the 8th of Iyar, May 4th 1998, Yuval died during his service at the age of 19. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Lod, and was survived by his parents, sister and two brothers.
