The eldest daughter of Batsheva and Jonathan. She was born in Bombay, India, on 17 June 1987. A sister to Shiran and Elad immigrated to Israel with her father and grandmother at the age of 3. After a few months she returned to India, where she attended elementary school. The second time, and this time with the whole family who set up her home in Lod, the family knew difficult but beautiful absorption paths and easily connected to people and learned the Hebrew language within a few weeks. The elementary school “Ma’apilim” and at the end of which she was accepted to the Ort Lydd High School, where she studied communications, and was smart and intelligent, She had a good and wide heart and was able to help her brother and her sister, and especially the parents, when her father became ill and his mother devoted all her time to caring for him and therefore could not learn Hebrew, became a family spokesman and took care of all the household matters and arrangements. She managed to divide her time between studies and work, and for a year and a half she worked at the Kammon restaurant at Ben-Gurion Airport, and despite the difficulties she knew how to enjoy life, liked to spend time (especially in the Boca), laugh and laugh , Aspired to move forward, and was always busy. Being very photogenic, she loved to be photographed, and her many pictures remained in her home. She loved reading books very much, and she even wrote poems and blessings that were humorous. She wrote to her sister on her fifteenth birthday: “Fifteen weeks have passed and you have spent your time pleasantly. What would we wish for such a different girl who is so fond of eating potatoes first that you succeed in your studies and in English that you can compose mathematics theorems-that solve equations and disappear and play sports? “So you’re less upset, even though you’re a great friend and a nurse’s sweetheart, and it’s true that sometimes we shout, but you must know that everyone loves you!” Yaffa loved her studies in communication and dreamed of developing her skills in this field and being a writer, producer or editor. During her studies, she underwent a fire-fighting course and began volunteering at the Lod-Ayalon fire station. She quickly connected to the local activities, helped extinguish fire and rescue people, and persisted for several months. At the fire station she met many people who fondly nicknamed her “Faiza”. The connection she created with her new friends was maintained even after she had to stop volunteering. After graduating from high school, Lippa was offered to advance in the field of communications and continue to grades 13 and 14 with financial assistance from the army. She hesitated, but finally accepted the offer and studied for two years at Ort College in Holon. In 2006, Yonatan’s father died. At the end of May 2007, she enlisted in the IDF, and after a few weeks she moved to the Home Front Command and was assigned to the position of “Military Photographer.” Yaffa planned to continue to study courses in the media and develop a career in the field, On July 7, 2007, she fell ill while serving in a traffic accident in Rishon Letzion. With her fell friend Michael Abramov. Yaffa, 20 years old, was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Lod. Survived by mother, sister and brother.
