Ozeri, Yosef (“Yoske”)


Son of Moshe and Yehudit. He was born on May 26, 1927 in Tel Aviv. He studied at the “Sample” elementary school and continued his studies at the youth group at Kibbutz Mizra. After that, he studied for one year the Max Payne Vocational School. He belonged to the “Naval Worker”. Found his bread as a construction worker. He was a member of the Hagana and served in the Hebrew settlement police. He was drafted into the IDF in February 1948. During the War of Independence he was accompanied by convoys and participated in the battles for the liberation of Beit Shean and even in the battles of the Jordan Valley, (11.11.1956) was brought to burial in the Military Emergency Cemetery in Bari and on the 12th of Mershvan 5718 (November 6, 1957) he was transferred to the eternal military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
