Ozeri, Eliezer (“Eli”,”Ozer”)


Eliezer, son of Aharon and Sa’ada Ozeri, was born in Tel Aviv on June 30, 1944. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1949. He was drafted into the IDF in June 1962. After his discharge from the army, he occasionally went to reserve duty and at the outbreak of the Six-Day War was called again to serve. On the second day of the battles, on May 6, 1967, he was hit by an enemy air bomb and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Afula and later moved to a permanent resting place in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
