Yehezkel, son of Nazima and Kamel, was born in Baghdad in 1944. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951 and studied at the Rothschild elementary school in Or Akiva, where he was called Sami by his friends. Yehezkel was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1961 and assigned to the Golani Brigade, where he served in a heavy mortar unit and served as a model soldier after completing his regular service. He worked hard to establish a warm and comfortable home and to help his parents, and he did well in his work, as a citizen who spent many years in reserve duty in the field, and was always an excellent friend, with many friends in his town of Or Akiva, Of the town and of its residents, and in the town, in the reserves, and as a taxi driver, Sami made Many friends and friends loved him because of his good spirit and his devotion. he was loyal to his family and friends.
