Ovadia, David


Son of Kaduri and Fahima. Born in 1942 in the city of Mosul in Iraq, David immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951. After completing his elementary studies at the Ohel Meir religious school in Afula, he studied for a year in a religious state high school there, Tnuva “in Tel Yosef – Ein Harod, who liked to read books and was drafted into the IDF in May 1961 and served as a liaison. After his discharge from the army, he occasionally went to reserve duty and at the outbreak of the Six-Day War was called again for the flag. On the second day of her battles, he was 26 Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), and fell in his role in Rosh Pina. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
