Son of Tzvia and Chaim. He was born in Tel Aviv on January 1, 1988. In 1945, during his last year of school, he joined the HaNoar Haoved youth movement He was one of the activists of the branch with the founders and organizers of the nucleus who planned to leave for training in Ashdot Yaakov, and joined the Haganah during his training in the Hagana, In September 1946, he left the kibbutz for training in Ashdot Ya’akov, and Avner remained at home, but remained in close contact with his fellow members of the Hachshara, and in April 1947 he joined his friends and immediately joined public service and was chosen to be a member of the Haganah. In the ranks of the Haganah, his commanders assigned him command and courses, but on the 30th of Tishrei 5708 (September 30, 1947) he perished in an accident while working in the kibbutz.
