He was born on 4 February 1927 in Heil, England, where he began his studies in his hometown and after immigrating to Israel in 1934 he entered the BILU elementary school and completed the “Haskalah” high school. He was interested in literature, music, and painting, but mostly tended to fly. From his childhood he knew that his life would be devoted to flying and when he came to Israel he brought with him a large library in this profession. He was one of the first members of the “Club of Aviation” in Israel, where he found his home, and sometimes he would avoid his parents’ permission, which was always feared for his welfare, to a children’s village where there were camps and vocational courses. At the age of 17 he began working for the Aviron company and for four years became an aircraft mechanic and acquired a lot of information, which he had a great deal of help in his last job in life, and began his service in the IDF in May 1948. When he was announced, And was among the few who were selected and completed the course. With his modesty and his characteristic humility, he tried not to stand out among other things, even if he came up with his theoretical knowledge. He went through several courses, and finally, in December 1950, we wore “Wings”. After further studies, he became the commander of the School of Flight Instructors, and his name became famous for merging forgiveness and meticulousness. He took his breath for trial flights. After his marriage in 1954 he was transferred to the squadron where the pilot flights were carried out and invested all his physical and mental energy in hard work and in a thorough reading of the books he acquired. One day, when he was chosen as a pilot who was going to England for a flight test, there was no end to his approval, but two weeks later, on the 22nd of Elul 5702 (August 22, 1955), he was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
