Oshri, Ron (Ronnie)

Ben Zahava and Haim. Born on May 6, 1961, in Bat-Yam, Roni was drafted into the IDF and stationed at Golani, where he completed basic training. His parents were proud of him and were glad that he was a good soldier, dedicated and loyal and serving in a glorious brigade. When he finished basic training, Roni was assigned to a course in communications. On the 15th of Cheshvan 5740 (15.11.1979), Roni fell during his service and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Holon. He was 18 when he died. He left behind his parents and three brothers. His brothers named their children after him.
