Berl (Dov), son of Sheine and Noach, was born on January 29, 1947, in Vilna, Russia, and immigrated to Israel with his family in early 1972. He attended elementary school and high school in his hometown, He studied at the music school and studied accordion, and Berl was an outstanding student, very diligent and diligent, graduating with honors from high school and his studies in the music school from the academic year He worked in Vilna as a radio, electronics and computer engineer, and after the Six-Day War he became an enthusiastic Zionist. The experience of immigration to Israel was a central axis in his life. In his spare time, he traveled extensively around the country and marveled at what he saw. Berl was drafted into the IDF in early April 1973. After completing his basic training, he completed a course for self-propelled gunners and a course for tank drivers, during which he served as an exemplary and loyal soldier and served as an example of his friends, During the Yom Kippur War, Dov fought in the battle against the Syrians in the Golan Heights On October 7, 1973, during his battle, his tank encountered an ambush and Dov was killed. He was initially considered missing, but his body was later identified and he was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery. He left his father, mother and sister, and after being killed, he was promoted to the rank of corporal.
