Oscar Tzarfaty

Son of Menashe and Dodon. He was born in 1929 in Salonika, completed his studies in a high school in Greece, immigrated to Israel via Cyprus in 1949 and was immediately drafted into the IDF. Was killed in a search operation in the vicinity of Dweima in the Beit-Guvrin area on 21.4.1949 and was brought to eternal rest in a military cemetery in the cemetery in Rehovot.
