Orlovsky, Reuven

Reuven, Ben Rachel, and David was born on the 6th of Cheshvan 5711 (6.11.1950) in Tel Aviv. on October 24, 1973. Reuven fought with the forces that broke into the city of Suez . He ordered his comrades-in-arms, after the commander in charge of the operation was wounded. During the battle, Reuven was hit by a bomb and killed. At first he was declared missing and later his body was returned and he was brought to eternal rest in Beit-The military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He was survived by a father, mother and brother. After his fall, he was promoted to sergeant.
