Orgon, Yair

Son of Bilha and Isaac. He was born on 2 May 1976 in Petach Tikva, where he grew up and was a quiet and kind boy who from a young age knew how to express his will and to stand up for himself. , Was considered a good student and participated in classes for gifted children held at the Telem school in Petah Tikva. Later on, he studied at the “Ahad Ha’am” junior high school and established good social connections. He frequently hosted friends in his home and stayed at home. As an outstanding student, he could have accepted any high school he wanted, and chose to go to the “Amal B” high school, because he wanted to study with his friends. As part of his studies, he was accepted to the technological reserve and continued to study in the 13 th and 24 th grades in the practical engineering track. Yair is considered an independent, serious and quiet, calm and calm person who has built a rich inner world for himself. His friends talk about his wit and his unique and original sense of humor, about being intelligent and broad-minded, who was interested in mysticism and philosophy and read many books. Yair wrote many notes about the human condition in the world in general and about his own situation in particular, and dealt with issues of love and loneliness. Yair wrote poems and even participated in a songwriting competition, in which he won a scholarship and the right to publish a book. He even tried to translate songs from English, such as “The Iron Lady.” Materialism did not interest him. His spirit was preoccupied with metaphysical questions whose solution was not available: “Modernization has made us prisoners and addicts at the same time, and these are statements of this kind that make a person sound philosophic.” Yair liked to watch television shows such as “The X-Files” and “Seinfeld” as well as the “cMTV” music channel, and he spent many hours listening, especially to heavy rock. He loved to hear the bands Pink Floyd and The Beatles. Took advantage of his free time and worked vacations on vacations to pay for his hobby and buy more and more records. In mid-July 1994, Yair enlisted in the IDF as part of the Technological Reserve, underwent basic training at the Neurim base at Nitzanim and continued his studies, and after completing his studies he returned to regular service and completed a course for visual systems at the Air Force base. He completed his course as one of the three best trainees and was recommended for a training role, and was assigned to the Optics Department as a visual systems technician in the “Shaldag” unit in the battalion where he served as a distinguished soldier, serious and mature, Yair began to be absorbed professionally and socially And kept to himself, obviously looking for more meaningful content. By writing expressed his feelings: “There are people whose lives are based on the fear of death than death itself. They are motivated by an inner drive that results from unbridled paranoia from the end, the end of life. Sometimes individuation comes into conflict, usually in its later years, ie, fifty plus, at the base of which is the self-question: is there a point to such a way of life – a constant fear of imminent death, thereby eliminating all the joy of life and the joy of life altogether. Or perhaps – and here is the great enlightenment – to live a better and freer life, without a perpetual and totally irrational threat, in my opinion. “On April 24, 1997, Yair fell while serving. Was brought to eternal rest in the Segula military cemetery in Petach Tikvah and left behind his parents and sister Sefi, who left a prestigious literary estate with poems and notes, some of which are written as fleets. “In his condolence letter to the bereaved family, Served as a technician for night vision systems in the Shaldag unit and was described by a commander”Yair was recognized by his friends and commanders as a quiet and humble man, but with a cynical and special sense of humor. Yair’s absorption in the unit as a whole and in the department in particular was slow, but his desire to be absorbed and contributed helped him and his friends complete his absorption and training as a regular technician. Yair was sent to a professional and advanced course at one of Israel’s leading companies. It should be noted that Yair loved his field of activity in the field, but unfortunately, he did not have time to exhaust the field experience until the end of the “
