Oren (Ohunon), Nahum


Son of Nissim and Sarah. Born in Jerusalem on October 23, 1952, he began studying at the Sokolov Elementary School in Jerusalem, and because of difficulties in the family, which was a multi-faceted family, he received a boarding school at the Nitzanim High School After completing his studies, he learned that he was exempt from defense service, and Nahum did not accept the “evil decree” and made great efforts To be accepted into the ranks of the IDF. After repeated requests and other tests, his request was approved. Nachum was drafted into the IDF in early 1973 and assigned to an infantry unit, successfully completing a course for infantry commanders, Commanders who insisted on his qualities as a guide and commander recommended that he leave for the officers’ course: “Nachum fulfills his duties responsibly, knows his profession, is an entrepreneur and has great expressiveness.” On 28.2.1976 ) Nahum fell in the line of duty and was brought to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, leaving behind his parents, five sisters and four brothers in a condolence letter to his family.
