When she arrived at the kindergarten, the teacher told her parents that Mazi was ready from the educational and emotional standpoint for first grade. She attended the Shiva elementary school in the area and was an outstanding student. But it was not only her studies and achievements that she had in mind, and not only herself – she showed caring and concern for her classmates, helped when needed and was an attentive ear when problems arose. Mazi completed her high school studies at the Kiryat Sharet six-year high school in Holon, on a theoretical track. Her ambition for perfection and her determination to succeed in “big time” guided her: she demanded that she reach the highest level of excellence and therefore devoted many hours to her studies, bothered with the preparation of work, studied well for the exams and, as usual, also helped her friends because Mazi was always for everyone, even when they were She has other chores and occupations. At the parents’ meetings, the teachers praised: “Mazi, the teacher’s favorite” was the key sentence. She also maintained warm ties with extended family members whom she loved so much. At the beginning of April 2001, she joined the IDF and served in the Signal Corps, and after completing her basic training she successfully completed her computer course and was assigned as a computer operator at the Military Court in the Kirya in Tel Aviv. And she was always proud of her job and was proud and pleased with her role, because she loved her regular service and the environment in which she served, naturally wanted to continue her career, and her commanders wanted her to continue to serve alongside them.
