The searches continued for two years, and on March 29, 1940, the remains of their bodies were found buried in a pit in the Arab village of Bir Zilfa in the Jenin governorate. David and his fellow men were put to rest at the cemetery in Givat Ada on the same day. Left parents and four brothers.
