Orach Chaim, Avraham (Avi)
Son of Baruch and Batya. He was born on January 31, 1952 in Jerusalem and studied at the Weizman elementary school and at the Municipal High School in Jaffa. He had a Yaffa childhood without any vicissitudes. When he was a high school student he discovered the art world – painting and sculpture – these two have since filled his whole being. My father, thin and bespectacled, developed slowly but surely and became a handsome young man who knew what was before him. Abraham, with his knowledge and acquired knowledge, had a great influence on the course of life at home and provided a love of culture and art for the whole family. Avi was drafted into the IDF at the beginning of September 1970. On the 27th of Iyar 5732 (10.5.1972), Rabbi Avraham Avraham died during his service after a period of hospitalization. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. In a letter of condolence to the family, the commander of his unit wrote: “My father served in our unit from the completion of basic training, and throughout his service he was an exemplary soldier, loyal and devoted to his job and a good friend of others. Abraham’s teshuvah will always be with us. “
