Omri, Ben-Zion (Benny)

Son of-Zion, son of Aziz and Sarah Omri, was born on 13.6.1958, in Moshav Hodaya, on the shore of Ashkelon, where his parents, Persian immigrants, had an agricultural farm. He was a model soldier. Helped his friends during the pressure, encouraged them and strengthened their spirits. He dreamed of going to the officers’ training course. Benny fell in the line of duty on 27.3.1977 and he was brought to eternal rest in the military section of the cemetery in Ashkelon. Survived by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
